As a Transaction Specialist II in the Exception Processing department, you will be responsible for processing stop payments, status accounts, CAN/RANN requests, end-of-day (EOD), etc. In this role, you will need to demonstrate an ownership approach to all tasks, initiative, and confidence to complete assignments with limited supervision, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to effectively multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. You will also work closely with our other sites located in Indiana and India to meet both internal and external service level agreements (SLAs).

Job responsibilities
- Process involves reviewing of stop information to make a pay/return decision
- Utilize comments for pay/return decisions
- Process manual requests
- Meet SLAs, productivity standards, and quality standards
- Participate in projects and working groups as required and other duties as assigned
- Exercise judgment, discretion, and prioritization
- Understand and follow Bank policy and established procedures
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Utilize 10-key by touch comfortably
- Basic working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Adapt to environment as a team player and independent self-starter, contribute to ideas within the department
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Effective multi-tasking skills and prioritize workloads while working within tight service levels
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy with completed work
- Maintain high performance levels in stressful situations and high-volume environment
- Lift up to 20lbs
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Be able to learn policies, procedures, and processes quickly
- Savvy with Internet/Intranet usage
