Description
As the Head of Product for the Sightline Platform, you will lead the strategy, development, and long-term success of Verily’s flagship population health intelligence platform. You will translate complex epidemiological and clinical data into actionable roadmaps, positioning Sightline as a market-leading, multi-modal data insights solution across Biosecurity, Life Sciences, and Public Health.
In this leadership role, you will define the platform's 'North Star,' bridging the gap between scientific innovation and customer value. You will influence the broader Verily product suite, foster cross-functional alignment among executive leadership, and drive the business strategy needed to transform scientific insights into a high-margin, scalable business.
Responsibilities
Define the long-term strategic vision and near-term execution roadmap for the Sightline Platform to align with Verily’s overarching precision health goals.
Translate complex epidemiological and clinical data into actionable product requirements and high-margin, scalable commercial offerings for life sciences and public health partners.
Drive cross-functional consensus across engineering, clinical, commercial, regulatory, and finance teams to break down silos and accelerate product delivery.
Secure alignment and buy-in from executive leadership and external stakeholders while navigating complex healthcare regulatory and privacy landscapes.
Establish operational KPIs, performance tracking metrics, and resource allocation strategies to transition the platform from ad-hoc projects to repeatable delivery models.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
10+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or program leadership within the healthtech, life sciences, or digital health sectors.
Experience managing end-to-end product lifecycles from initial data acquisition to commercial market deployment.
Experience working with population health surveillance, epidemiological forecasting models, or public health policy requirements.
Strong technical acumen with experience leading engineering squads and integrating AI/ML models into SaaS platform architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to evaluate complex mathematical/epidemiological model assumptions, limitations, and statistical uncertainty.
Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to synthesize highly complex, scientific data into compelling narratives for executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated agency and bias for action, with a track record of driving clarity in highly ambiguous environments and making tough trade-off decisions.
Strong business acumen with experience analyzing market trends and driving product decisions that align with long-term profitability and commercial scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000 - $295,500 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
