Job Description:

We are looking for an Analyst, Reconciliations and Reporting to support the oversight, administration, and reconciliation of approximately 3,000 accounts across multiple books of record. In this role, you will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely certification of reconciliation activities while supporting system administration, audit readiness, and key operational processes across TD Asset Management.

This is a great opportunity for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex operational issues, improving processes, and using data to drive better business outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with partners across Technology, Operations, Business Architecture, Wealth business lines, and external vendors to identify root causes, strengthen controls, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and support complex reconciliations as part of the month-end certification process, including break investigation, assignment, reporting, escalation, tracking, and resolution.

  • Analyze reconciliation controls and operational processes to identify gaps, recurring issues, data quality concerns, source file errors, and opportunities for remediation.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend practical, risk-based solutions to strengthen controls, improve service levels, and reduce recurring breaks.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across reconciliation, investigation, reporting, and operational workflows.

  • Partner with Technology, Business Architecture, Operations, Wealth business lines, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and implement sustainable process improvements.

  • Develop metrics, reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations to communicate reconciliation trends, impacts, risks, and recommendations.

  • Provide analytical and business analysis support to help inform decisions, resolve complex business problems, and identify opportunities to improve business value.

  • Process transactions accurately and within established guidelines, procedures, service level agreements, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Respond to customer, partner, and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner, escalating operational, service, or risk issues as appropriate.

  • Support audits, controls, reporting, research, presentations, and communications for management and broader stakeholder audiences.

  • Act as a subject matter expert or project/workstream lead for small-scale initiatives, as required.

  • Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting cross-training, assisting colleagues, and maintaining strong communication on priorities, risks, and progress.

  • Promote a strong culture of risk management, confidentiality, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • 3–5 years of related experience in financial services, Wealth operations, reconciliations, reporting, controls, or a similar operational environment.

  • Strong understanding of Wealth business processes, operational functions, applications, and books of record.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and meet service, productivity, and SLA expectations.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to a range of stakeholders.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Tableau or other reporting/data visualization tools is an asset.

  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory requirements, controls, or risk management activities is an asset.

  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.

  • Experience supporting process improvement, process mapping, automation, metrics development, or technology-enabled change is an asset.
