Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and the Quarkus framework, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective and maintainable technical solutions.
• Participate in the design, implementation, and evolution of APIs and microservices-based architectures.
• Ensure code quality by applying best development practices, standards, and clean code principles.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the technical improvement of the development team.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in a structured and proactive manner.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure consistent and aligned deliveries.
• Manage multiple priorities and tasks, ensuring clarity and focus on critical demands.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Java development.
• Practical knowledge of Quarkus or similar backend frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases, including SQL queries, modeling, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and solve complex problems.
• Genuine interest in understanding business rules and processes beyond technical implementation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
• Understanding of system architecture concepts and integration patterns.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Experience in retail or large-scale commerce environments.
• Knowledge of automated testing practices.
