Accountabilities:

    The Proposal Manager will oversee the development, coordination, and submission of cybersecurity and compliance proposals while ensuring technical accuracy, compliance alignment, and strong business positioning.

    • Manage the complete lifecycle of RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses, including qualification, planning, writing, review, and submission.
    • Evaluate incoming opportunities to determine strategic fit, feasibility, and likelihood of success in collaboration with sales and leadership teams.
    • Develop and edit proposal content covering cybersecurity services, assessment methodologies, compliance programs, technical approaches, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts from subject matter experts into clear, persuasive, and client-focused proposal narratives.
    • Coordinate proposal development across sales, technical teams, delivery teams, compliance specialists, and executive stakeholders.
    • Ensure proposals align with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, FedRAMP, HIPAA, and HITRUST.
    • Maintain and improve proposal resources, including templates, response libraries, framework documentation, and supporting materials.
    • Manage proposal tools, procurement platforms, and opportunity tracking systems to support efficient submission processes.
    • Partner with sales and delivery teams to ensure pricing, scope, and service structures are accurately represented.
    • Track proposal performance metrics, submission quality, turnaround times, and contribution to revenue growth.
    • Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes, documentation, and internal collaboration workflows.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented proposal professional with strong writing skills, cybersecurity knowledge, and experience managing complex business development processes.

      • 5+ years of experience managing proposals, RFP responses, or similar business development documentation processes.
      • Experience supporting proposals within cybersecurity, IT services, compliance consulting, or technology-focused organizations.
      • Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance frameworks including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, FedRAMP, and HITRUST.
      • Strong ability to transform technical information into clear, persuasive, and structured written content.
      • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including sales professionals, technical subject matter experts, and leadership stakeholders.
      • Excellent written communication, editing, organization, and document management skills.
      • Strong project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
      • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical and compliance documentation.
      • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership of deliverables.
      • Experience with government contracting, public sector proposals, procurement platforms, or cybersecurity consulting environments is a plus.
      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams.
