Role responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include performing reduction, analysis, and interpretation of X-ray observations, as well as conducting X-ray spectral and timing analysis of accreting neutron stars. The appointee will also contribute to scholarly activities and support undergraduate researchers.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Physics or Astrophysics is required, along with proficiency in Python and familiarity with scientific data analysis. Preferred qualifications include experience with astronomical data analysis and strong communication skills.
