A Master Esthetician is a professional who is licensed to provide skin treatments and custom skincare recommendations for specific skin conditions. Their duties include spa facials, specific peel protocols by skin care line, microdermabrasion, LED, dermaplaning, brow lamination and hair removal.
Perform skincare services, such as wraps and facials
Perform facial treatments, including cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing
Welcome clients and explain the list of services and products offered
Conduct body waxing services with precision and care
Train new hires on the company’s services and products to ensure every employee upholds the quality levels expected
Attend continuing education programs and regular staff meetings to keep skills updated with the newest methods and technologies
Sell additional products and services in a simple but professional manner to enable clients to maintain their skincare routine at home
Explain how the service will affect the client’s skin and offer advice on which service is best for them
Knowledge of eyelash and eyebrow tinting
Sanitize equipment and treatment areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Additional tasks as needed.
Fluent and proficient in Master Esthetics work.
Engage in upselling products or additional services to enhance the client experience
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Offer guest services with a hospitable and welcoming demeanor
Must hold license from Virginia State Board of Cosmetology.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Wage: This position is Commission Only
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Be mobile in all Spa areas.
Work is performed in areas which may be unusually dimly lit or brightly illuminated or on slippery surfaces.
May encounter solvents/oils, fumes/odors, and dirt/dust.
Use of electrical devices and computer equipment.
Constant contact with staff, guests/visitors.
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules, weekends, and holidays to reflect the needs of the facility.
Multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.
Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
