As a Sr IT Analyst at Honeywell, you will lead the analysis, design, development, deployment, and support of Financial Business Case for NPI and GDM — Global Data Management — systems supporting enterprise-wide project portfolio management. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity, automation, and seamless integration across ERP, SAP, and Accolade platforms, while enabling business users and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
Accolade is 3rd party tool used for NPI, VE CE, GISC and IT Process execution and tracking supporting various functions across the Organization. The role will focus on functional business analysis responsibilities for strategic digital IT initiatives in NPI GDM (New Product Introduction Global Data Management) process, VE GDM process (Value Engineering) and Accolade platforms. You will translate business requirements into effective solution designs, support automation and integration initiatives, troubleshoot complex production issues, coordinate deployments and quality assurance activities, and participate in governance forums to align priorities and report progress.
The ideal candidate will bring strong business analysis capability, stakeholder management, solution design / architecture experience, financial acumen, proactive issue resolution skills, and the ability to collaborate across global business, finance, IT leadership, ERP, SAP, Accolade, QA, and SBG teams.
1. System Development, Solution Design & Automation
- Lead the development and enhancement of Financial Business Case for NPI UI and Excel-based tools to support revenue and cost forecasting, P&L summaries, and project lifecycle tracking.
- Drive automation initiatives, such as Risk GDM, Project Accounting for NPI etc. involving integration from ERP, JIRA to Accolade.
- Collaborate with ERP, JIRA and EDW/Analytics teams to align technical solutions with business requirements and architectural standards.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, solution designs, and technical inputs that enable scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned system capabilities.
2. Business Analysis, Requirements & Functional Alignment
- Work with business users, finance stakeholders, and IT leadership to gather requirements, validate data, and ensure successful adoption of new features.
- Analyze business processes and system needs across Financial Business Case for NPI, GDM, SAP, ERP, and Accolade to support enterprise-wide project portfolio management.
- Support feature definition, data validation, user acceptance readiness, and business sign-off activities by connecting functional requirements with technical implementation details for NPI PPM
- Ensure business requirements are reflected in solution design, deployment plans, testing scope, and stakeholder communications.
3. Issue Resolution, Production Support & Continuous Improvement
- Act as a primary responder for urgent production issues with business expertise.
- Coordinate with global teams to conduct root cause analysis, implement fixes, and validate outcomes under tight timelines.
- Troubleshoot complex data and integration issues across Financial Business Case for NPI, GDM, SAP, ERP, and Accolade systems.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, improving support processes, and strengthening solution reliability and data integrity.
4. Deployment, Quality Assurance & Release Support
- Own deployment planning and execution for NPI PPM tracks, including smoke testing, defect tracking, and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain and update deployment trackers to ensure transparency and accountability across IT Team and business units.
- Partner with QA and delivery teams to validate release readiness, track defects, coordinate issue closure, and support successful go-live outcomes.
- Ensure deployment activities are aligned with business priorities, system stability needs, and cross-functional delivery expectations.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Participate in governance forums such as TAM, CCB, and Scrum meetings to align priorities and report progress.
- Collaborate with business users, finance, IT leadership, ERP, SAP, QA and Accolade stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data, and drive adoption of new features.
- Communicate clearly with global teams on issue status, deployment progress, testing outcomes, business impacts, and required actions.
- Build trusted relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure business alignment, technical feasibility, and successful delivery of enterprise IT capabilities.
