Job Summary

This role involves implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures to safeguard the organization's systems and infrastructure. Applies expertise in engineering practices alongside familiarity with relevant cybersecurity compliance standards. Performs security evaluations and audits to detect risks across networks, applications, and operating systems.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the design and architecture of cyber security systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection
• Installing, configuring, maintaining, and testing cyber security measures, ensuring alignment with design specification and the safeguarding of organizational assets
• Conducting technical reviews and vulnerability assessments of network infrastructure and systems
• Developing and overseeing the implementation of security policies and procedures
• Applying knowledge of network protocols and security for a variety of vendors and devices
• Collaborating with teams to perform security audits, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions
• Responding to security incidents with forensic analysis to mitigate risks and enhance defenses
• Participating in the enforcement of cybersecurity compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
