As a Cleanroom Testing Technician II, you will Perform tests to assess conformance with engineering specifications for Oxygen Products.  Set up testing apparatus and conducts quality assurance/control tests of raw materials, parts, components, finished items, packaging, equipment and systems. Perform final tests on subassemblies or completed units as necessary to ensure proper functioning of electrical, Oxygen systems, mechanical, and chemical performance.

The scope of work may include but is not limited to strength testing, thermal testing, chemical management, pyrometry and PSI (Pound-Force per Square Inch) testing.

What You Will Do:

  • Works under direct supervision with limited discretion. Requires instructions to complete new assignments or activities

  • Frequently uses and applies technical principles, theories, and concepts. Applies acquired job skills in the execution of existing procedures to complete assigned tasks

  • Follows routines to achieve day-to-day objectives. Uses standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and goals

  • Performs more involved tasks, requiring minor adjustments to work methods. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity

  • Works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on team results. Refers more complex issues to higher levels

  • Perform engineering conformance testing from assisting with setup through executing final tests on finished products.

  • Conducts, designs, and develops test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products.

  • Follows company and manufacturing guidelines to ensure safety and compliance.

  • Carries out testing as assigned and records results.

  • Follows established testing procedures to ensure product reliability.

  • Conducts test simulations and records results.

  • Plans automated test scripts using scripting and programming languages.

  • Supports technical investigations for defects discovered during test activities.

  • Communicates with team members to understand individual requirements.

  • Follows safety and quality standards

  • All work is completed in an environmentally controlled clean room environment

  • Requires the donning and doffing of company-provided clean room suits at all times. 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
