**Summary** A local logistics company is seeking a highly motivated **Account Executive** to join our sales team. If you have a hunter mentality, experience developing strategic customer relationships, and a passion for solving complex supply chain challenges, we want to hear from you. **What You'll Do** - Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within logistics, freight, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain markets. - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers across industries including healthcare, construction, HVAC, manufacturing, and distribution. - Conduct in-person client meetings to assess business needs and deliver customized logistics and supply chain solutions. - Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, closing, and account transition. - Present service offerings and value propositions to prospective clients through consultative selling techniques. - Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity reporting within CRM platforms. - Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction. - Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to uncover new revenue streams and maintain a competitive advantage. - Provide regular updates on sales performance and business development activities to leadership. **What We're Looking For** *Required Qualifications* - Minimum of 5 years of business development, outside sales, account executive, or B2B sales experience. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Proven success generating new business and managing complex sales cycles. - Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. - Strong negotiation, presentation, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills. - Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and ability to travel locally for client meetings. *Preferred Qualifications* - Experience in industries such as logistics, freight, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment. - Existing relationships within healthcare, manufacturing, construction, HVAC, distribution, or related sectors. - Demonstrated success selling service-based solutions in a competitive market. **Who You Are** - Driven, competitive, and highly motivated to win new business. - Skilled at prospecting, territory management, and pipeline development. - A strong communicator with exceptional influencing and negotiation abilities. - Analytically minded and capable of identifying market opportunities. - Organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences and long-term business partnerships. **Work Environment** This position is based in Indianapolis and requires regular onsite presence, customer visits, and local travel.
