What You’ll Be Responsible For:
As an Operations/Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll serve as a critical liaison between our plants and corporate engineering leading initiatives that optimize performance, elevate safety standards, and create consistency across the network.
- Interpret PIDs
- Lead site infrastructure such as chilled water, HVAC, compressed air and applicable projects within governing plants.
- Manage CAPEX infrastructure projects across the Pretium network.
- Champion continuous improvement and 5S implementations across all sites with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and performance.
- Partner with local plant teams to standardize tooling, equipment, and operational processes across sites.
- Serve as the go-to resource for root cause analysis (RCA) and provide hands-on support to plant maintenance teams.
- Build and nurture vendor relationships, ensuring high standards and consistent service from contractors and suppliers.
- Assist each site in building, maintaining, and controlling standardized SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Ensure all engineering practices meet safety and regulatory compliance standards.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (required)
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with AutoCAD (required), SolidWorks is a plus
- Prior exposure to the plastics industry is a strong advantage
