Purchasing Procurement Manager

We are seeking a Purchasing Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives that enable operational excellence, cost efficiency, and resilient supply chains. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and suppliers to deliver high-quality materials and services while supporting innovation, sustainability, and long-term business growth.
- Develop and execute global and regional sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities and demand forecasts
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and category management to optimize total cost of ownership
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving performance through KPIs, scorecards, and continuous improvement plans
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on specifications, timelines, and budget expectations
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including dual sourcing, inventory strategies, and contingency planning
- Drive cost savings initiatives, value engineering, and process improvements across procurement activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve procurement performance
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and development
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience working with suppliers in a global environment
- Knowledge of procurement systems and tools (e.g., ERP, sourcing platforms)
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to ethical sourcing and compliance practices
- Experience managing complex categories (e.g., direct materials, electronics, mechanical components)
- Familiarity with cost modeling, should-cost analysis, or value engineering methodologies
- Exposure to sustainability initiatives and responsible sourcing practices
- Experience leading cross-functional or multicultural teams
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
