The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products. **Responsibilities** + Drive Google Pay India’s merchant acquiring platform/ business and payment flows by identifying, structuring, and scaling strategic partnerships. + Serve as the primary liaison with banks, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and key external partners to streamline merchant acquiring, core payment processing, and settlement workflows. + Lead end-to-end partner negotiations and contracting processes to successfully launch and support new Form of Payment (FOPs), initiatives, business models. + Co-ordinate external and internal liaison across cross-functional teams on acquiring programs, reliability management, Payment Aggregator Compliance and other partner operations work-streams, identifying changes in business Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) where needed. + Oversee the delivery of compliance changes across cross-functional partners as necessitated by new NPCI and RBI guidelines, proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in merchant onboarding, systems reliability, system migrations, and operational audits to protect core business metrics.
