Manage the people responsible for the development, release, and maintenance of hardware products through the supply chain lifecycle. Key actives of the team include Bill of Material (BOM) management; New Product Introduction (NPI) activities; material transitions; and End of Life (EOL) management. Plan and direct resource schedules as well as development budgets. Monitor the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with design engineering peers on technical matters. Manage interdepartmental activities ensuring release of the program on schedule and within the budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of staff, providing technical support and direction. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team. Works collaboratively and builds reciprocal relationships with different parts of the business, partners and customers. Enhances Oracles competitive advantage by using insight gained across organizational boundaries to inform future practices and increase synergies. Delivers team leadership by building visibility and reputation across different LOBs, functions, cultures, and geographies. Leverages each team members unique talents and role models talent management practices to create high performing teams. Copes with complexity as demonstrated by the ability to anticipate problems and obstacles before they arise and plans accordingly. Enables execution as measured by the ability to know the business and understands metrics/key performance indicators required by self and/or team to deliver results.
Manages and controls activities in support of product development and manufacturing process. Ensures appropriate planning is effectively executed to meet design engineering specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product lifecycle, new product introduction, and sustaining operations management. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Ability to work in a dynamic environment as shown by the ability to demonstrate resilience in driving change. Proven Communication skills with the ability to gain broad support and buy-in for initiatives from key stakeholders. Prefer 4 years of supply chain development and product lifecycle experience.Manage the functions responsible for creating and maintaining the product lifecycle for the hardware supply chain. Works closely with design engineering and supply chain peers to develop and maintain robust and sustainable manufacturing processes to deliver quality products to the customer.
