Accountabilities:
- Prepare and submit claims for acquired and sold properties in accordance with established processes and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct monthly process control audits, vendor audits, and system data integrity reviews, providing findings and trend analysis to management.
- Research claims, prepare documentation for internal and external audits, and support compliance initiatives.
- Resolve operational escalations within the designated scope of responsibility while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new and existing team members and contribute to maintaining department procedures, job aids, and process documentation.
- Draft professional written communications to internal stakeholders and support continuous process improvements while performing additional responsibilities as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in default mortgage servicing, mortgage insurance claims, or a related legal environment.
- Strong understanding of mortgage servicing practices, claims processing, foreclosure guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Experience using the LPS-MSP Mortgage Servicing Platform is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality and high standards of accuracy.
- Previous leadership or team mentoring experience is preferred.
