This is your chance to be part of a Global Sales Team that ensures Hilton owners and operators receive the combined benefits of scale, access, competence, and experience. As the Manager of Business Travel Sales – CALA, you promote a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands and pursue growth in market share. On the Hilton Worldwide Sales Team – Mexico, reporting to the Managing Director of Sales – CALA, you build partnerships with Latin American–based decision makers for Global BTS and Corporate Strategic accounts. You will also assist your Global counterpart in the facilitation of the annual Request for Proposal process for your assigned accounts.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Present sales pitches to clients with complex needs across multiple areas of the business, providing an overall solution approach.
- Communicate hotel needs with a high degree of ease to support client needs.
- Analyze industry trends and competitor strengths and weaknesses. You will incorporate industry and client analysis into forecast and future client needs.
- Use sales growth techniques to increase revenue and improve client total brand usage.
- Establish and maintain a trusted-partner relationship with accounts.
- Support overall account planning for your region's strategy to facilitate growth.
How you'll collaborate with others:
- Collaborate with our hotels in Latin America, Hilton Worldwide Sales Specialists around the world and other valuable partners to provide total client solutions.
- Represent Hilton Worldwide and with leadership in FAM trips, travel, and domestic trade fairs and events meaningful to our market.
Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
- Oversee the account management and account development for a roster of accounts that is segmented vertically and within Latin America.
- Achieve revenue targets and sales competencies.
- Maintain internal system records, including call reports, meeting profiles, and history.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of work experience in Sales within hospitality industry.
- Three (3) years of direct business transient sales experience for a corporate office representing or negotiating with hotels
- Spanish and English fluency (oral and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Web-Ex, MS Teams and Zoom
- Negotiation and sales skills
- Travel up to 35%
- Based in Mexico City
It would be useful if you have:
- Portuguese fluency (oral and written)
- BA/BS bachelor's degree
- Experience in Delphi or similar property sales management system
- Experience using Salesforce & MicroStrategy
