The Eurofins network is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporate responsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across its companies around the world.Job DescriptionJunior Compliance Controller oversees handling day-to-day operations related to the compliance with Group’s Finance and Legal Policies and Procedures. This challenging position requires good oversight, a range of organizational skills and knowledge of procedures and internal regulations. You will have an integral role in keeping our international operations running smoothly.Purpose of the Role:Ensure adherence to the company’s Spending and Contracting Authority Policy by monitoring approval limits, managing deviation requests, and supporting leaders in compliance with internal governance standards.The main responsibilities:Communicating policy changes and ensuring understanding across all levelsTracking spending & contracting activities to ensure compliance with established authority limitsIdentifying transactions exceeding delegated limits and reporting to the relevant decision-makersCoordinating deviation approval process, including documentation review, justification review, and escalation to appropriate leadership levelsMaintaining records of all deviations for audit and reporting purposesAdvising leaders on compliance requirements and best practicesCollaborating with Legal, Finance, Controlling, and Procurement teams to mitigate risks related to non-compliancePreparing periodic reports on policy adherence and deviations for senior managementOther Assignments:Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member within demanding and international environmentOffering alternative solutions when a request cannot be fulfilled or can be fulfilled more efficientlyUtilizing appropriate technology to complete various responsibilities and high volume of documentsAssisting with ad-hoc projects when necessaryQualificationsEssential qualifications:Fluent in English (written and spoken)Bachelor’s degreeKnowledge of legal principles and practicesProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint;Additional requirements: Strong planning, organisation and time management skillsAutonomy and proactivenessGood communication skillsRigorous with good attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and thigh deadlinesAnalytical and logical reasoning skillsAbility to work with large data logsAdditional InformationWe support your development!
