Accountabilities:

    As the Manager, Competitive Intelligence, you will lead the development of a high-performing intelligence team and establish processes that enable effective market analysis and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with business leaders across multiple functions to ensure insights are translated into meaningful actions.

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Competitive Intelligence Analysts while fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
    • Define priorities, manage resources, and oversee the competitive intelligence roadmap to align with broader business objectives.
    • Build scalable processes for monitoring competitors, market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs.
    • Deliver strategic insights that support product strategy, market positioning, go-to-market planning, and executive decision-making.
    • Partner with Product Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, Strategy, and leadership teams to identify opportunities and mitigate market risks.
    • Create executive briefings, competitive analyses, battlecards, and enablement materials to support business growth.
    • Gather and synthesize information from research, customer feedback, industry sources, and internal teams to identify emerging opportunities.
    • Establish best practices and quality standards for competitive research, analysis, and communication.
    • Leverage modern research methodologies and AI-enabled tools to improve the speed, scale, and effectiveness of intelligence initiatives.
    • Measure the impact of competitive intelligence programs and continuously improve team performance and operational effectiveness.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with proven leadership experience and the ability to influence strategic decisions across an organization. You should have experience translating complex market information into actionable business recommendations while building collaborative, high-performing teams.

      • 5+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, product marketing, strategy, consulting, or a related field.
      • Demonstrated experience managing and developing analysts, researchers, strategists, or similar knowledge-based professionals.
      • Proven ability to conduct market, competitor, and customer research that informs strategic business decisions.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear recommendations.
      • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience communicating with senior executives.
      • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
      • Experience managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
      • Ability to translate complex market dynamics into compelling business narratives.
      • Familiarity with AI-powered research tools, intelligence workflows, and modern analytical approaches.
      • Experience in B2B SaaS, CRM, marketing technology, sales technology, customer experience platforms, consulting, product marketing, or corporate strategy is a plus.
      • Experience creating competitive intelligence frameworks, enablement resources, or supporting executive-level planning initiatives is preferred.
