About the Role
We're seeking a Temp Freight Administrator with a strong customer service background and solid Excel skills to support outbound shipment management. This role prepares shipping documents, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures shipments move efficiently and cost-effectively. Logistics or freight administration experience is a plus.
What You'll Do
- Manage carrier changes
- Schedule, quote, and route Truckload and Expedited shipments
- Ensure all consignments ship in the most cost-effective way and in adherence with shipping guidelines
- Process unrouteable orders, including Criticality 1 shipments for US, Canada, Mexico, and international destinations
- Prepare shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, SLIs, and Commercial Invoices
- Resolve shipping documentation issues or missed shipments
- Follow up on daily inquiries for carrier change requests, expedited/must-ship requests, exceptions, and shipment tracking
- Maintain integrity of freight management systems
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service background
- Excel experience required
- Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills
- Logistics and/or freight administration experience a plus
