Our hospital has been committed to providing patients quality medical treatment in the Turtle Lake area and surrounding communities since 1952. Through the years, the hospital has sought to continually upgrade the quality and numbers of services it provides. The hospital's affiliation with major medical centers and health care agencies has allowed it to expand its health care services through a network that begins at the local level. CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is equipped with 2 emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed programs, and acute care services. Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Nurse Aide, you will work under the supervision of the RN Charge Nurse/Director of Nursing. Every day you will provide nursing care as assigned. You will be expected to practice as a team member in deliver of care. To be successful in this role, you must be committed to social justice, health equity and prepared to deliver cleanliness in new and innovative ways. Vital Signs and Basic Data Collection: Takes vital signs, measures intake/output, height, and weight, and obtains routine lab samplesAssistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provides comprehensive support for bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and toiletingPatient Mobility & Support: Assists with patient equipment, transfers (bed to chair), and transportation within the facilityObservation, Reporting & Safety: Monitors patient progress, identifies needs for medical intervention, removes hazards, and maintains clean, orderly patient roomsMealtime Support: Sets up patients for meals, assists with feeding as needed, and documents meal intakeTeamwork & Responsiveness: Promptly answers all patient signal lights and functions collaboratively as a team member in care delivery, while adhering to infection control protocols We are offering a $7,500 employment incentive to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
