Your JobAs Engineering Manager at Molex Guadalajara (DSS division), you will lead and transform a high-performing engineering team, driving strategic projects and technical solutions that meet business objectives. You will oversee engineering activities from concept to execution, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.Our TeamYou’ll work closely with internal teams (R&D, Production, Quality, Supply Chain), external vendors, and cross-functional partners. The team is committed to continuous improvement, technical excellence, and developing talent through training and transformation.What You Will DoLead and inspire cross-functional teams and indirect functional groups to deliver innovative solutions and process improvements.Manage engineering projects end-to-end, including NPI/PLUS, new process development, machinery qualification, and project startups from scratch.Analyze and optimize capex and opex, forecast needs, and drive reductions in cycle times.Oversee process characterization, apply statistical models, and influence process improvements.Train and develop team members, including superintendents and supervisors, fostering a culture of transformation and operational excellence.Collaborate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely project execution.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.Strong experience with business/client lines, process analysis, and advanced SMT/semiconductor/aerospace environments.Proficient in English (C1 level).Demonstrated skills in root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, and process improvement. What Will Put You AheadAdvanced degree (Master’s, MBA) or professional certification (PE, PMP).Experience in high-precision placement, electronics, optics engineering, and semiconductor industries.Proficiency with CAD software, engineering simulation tools, and knowledge of regulatory standards.Experience in NPI/PLUS, process development, and supplier management.Track record in team transformation, training, and implementing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
