The Customer Care Associate is responsible for being instrumental in helping the Service and Sales business achieve its growth and profitability goals by working directly with our customers to promote the value of Molecular Devices. You will provide high-quality support for our customers as well as our Service and Sales Organizations.
This position reports to the Customer Care Manager and is part of the North America Customer Care team located in San Jose, CA and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by providing timely updates, resolving complex order and service issues, and building strong relationships that enhance customer satisfaction and retention
- Manage end-to-end processing of instrument, consumable, service, depot repair, field service, and calibration orders while ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Partner with Sales, Service, Finance, Logistics, and Operations teams to resolve customer issues, streamline workflows, identify process improvements, and support revenue growth through efficient order execution and timely invoicing
The essential requirements of the job include
- High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience in customer service and/or order management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power BI, Excel
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
- Oracle Order Management, ServiceMax and Salesforce experience
- Miro for Visual Management

The hourly range for this role is $34.00 - $36.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
