Accountabilities:

    • Lead and oversee national teams supporting natural gas engineering, operations, and utility programs while driving organizational growth and performance objectives.
    • Assume ownership of departmental safety performance, operational efficiency, financial results, and revenue generation.
    • Develop and implement annual operating plans, strategic initiatives, and growth targets aligned with broader business objectives.
    • Expand existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities through cross-selling engineering, consulting, and operational services.
    • Design and execute national sales and business development strategies through industry events, presentations, conferences, and marketing initiatives.
    • Manage contracts and ensure operational compliance by monitoring revenues, expenses, liabilities, and performance obligations.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and client representatives to maintain effective partnerships and optimize contract execution.
    • Prepare, review, and approve proposals, project estimates, and commercial agreements for new and existing projects.
    • Monitor contractual performance metrics, address disputes or compliance concerns, and implement process improvements where necessary.
    • Oversee invoicing, financial reporting, payment tracking, and billing processes to ensure accurate financial management.
    • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to leadership teams and staff across nationwide natural gas programs.
    • Deliver executive-level presentations and communicate program updates, insights, and recommendations to clients and senior leadership.
    • Maintain exceptional customer service standards and ensure timely resolution of client concerns and operational challenges.
    • Travel up to 30% as required to support client relationships, operational oversight, and business development activities.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related discipline.
      • Minimum of 10 years of experience in natural gas program management or gas utility design, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
      • Master's degree preferred.
      • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
      • Strong understanding of utility operations, natural gas engineering programs, and contract management practices.
      • Demonstrated experience in business development, client relationship management, and expanding service portfolios.
      • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in financial reporting, data analysis, program auditing, and inventory management.
      • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and execution.
      • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
      • Strong leadership capabilities, including team development, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
      • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.
      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of accountability and professionalism.
      • Ability to successfully complete post-offer drug and alcohol testing requirements in accordance with applicable regulations.
