Accountabilities:
- Work directly with customers to support successful application of simulation software in real manufacturing and engineering use cases
- Lead technical discussions during pre-sales and customer engagement phases, translating complex capabilities into clear value propositions
- Conduct solver testing and quality assurance prior to releases to ensure performance, stability, and accuracy
- Collect and synthesize end-user feedback to inform product enhancements and future feature development
- Develop and maintain auxiliary or supporting software tools related to core simulation and solver functionality
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve usability, performance, and technical documentation
- Participate in customer site visits, industry events, and occasional domestic/international travel as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in additive manufacturing or related engineering environments
- Solid understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) and engineering simulation principles
- Exposure to thermomechanical modeling, manufacturing processes, or materials behavior
- Programming experience in languages such as Python, C++, C, or Fortran is highly desirable
- Familiarity with visualization or post-processing tools such as ParaView is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions
- Comfortable working directly with customers in a technical advisory capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-growing, and collaborative environment
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR and authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
