Accountabilities:

    The Business Development Associate will be responsible for managing strategic partnerships, optimizing marketplace performance, and identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth. This role requires strong relationship management, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver successful partner outcomes.

    • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value lending partnerships, serving as the primary contact for partner success and revenue performance.
    • Support the onboarding and integration of new partners, ensuring smooth implementation and strong performance ramp-up.
    • Monitor partner performance through regular reporting, marketplace analysis, and business reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Analyze marketplace data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improving lead quality, conversion, and partner outcomes.
    • Develop data-driven recommendations and business cases to support new initiatives, product enhancements, and marketplace expansion.
    • Negotiate pricing, partnership terms, and growth opportunities based on performance insights and market trends.
    • Build strong relationships with external partners while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Engineering, and other internal teams to execute partnership initiatives effectively.
    • Manage projects related to partner programs, integrations, and operational improvements.
    • Translate complex business and technical information into clear recommendations for different audiences.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate brings experience in business development, partnerships, strategic account management, or marketplace operations, with strong analytical capabilities and a proven ability to drive business results through collaboration and data insights.

      • 4–5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategic account management, or related roles.
      • Experience managing the supply side of a two-sided marketplace or similar partner ecosystem.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate data, identify trends, and uncover revenue opportunities.
      • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, BI platforms, and ideally SQL or similar technologies.
      • Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
      • Demonstrated success managing stakeholders, negotiating partnerships, and building consensus.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
      • Comfortable working in ambiguous, high-growth environments and taking ownership of business outcomes.
      • Bachelor’s degree required.
      • Experience with CRM and partner management tools such as Salesforce, Jira, or similar platforms is preferred.
      • MBA, experience launching new partnerships, or managing API integrations is a plus.
