Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Proposal Analyst, to join our Aeronautics Systems Sector in the Pricing and Estimating Group, working closely with multiple engineering and manufacturing functions, Global Supply Chain, Program Management Office, and Business Management. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work, based in our Melbourne, FL offices.Role and Impact:Support a variety of proposal activities (Firm Proposals, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs), pricing exercises) to meet program and business goalsDevelop and help lead proposals by providing clear Pricing and Estimating direction from proposal kick-off and continued guidance throughout the process for successful proposal executionCompile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) specificationsCollect cost data from functional representatives and subcontractorsInteract and collaborate with other functional areas (Business Management, Contracts, Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Logistics) to develop strategies in support of proposal requirements and deadlinesPrepare cost reports and presenting results to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators and customer representativesSupport Pricing and Estimating team initiatives and continuous improvementSupport risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal processParticipate as a member of the contract negotiating teamMaintain the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethicsEffectively support customer fact-finding and DCAA/DCMA auditsResearch and analyze historical data, develop cost and pricing models to support proposal effortsEnsure proposals are timely, accurate and compliant in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications, FAR / DFARS requirements and Sector Estimating System and ProceduresOther duties as assignedIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!Basic Qualifications for Associate Proposal Analyst (Level 1)Be completing or has completed their degree Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027. Be majoring in or having majored in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or STEM related degree. ​Experience with Microsoft Office suite, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft ExcelBe able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
