**Job Description Summary**
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) intern (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Environmental/Sustainability focus) to support the planning and execution of site- wide EHS initiatives and programmes. This role offers hands- on experience in environmental, health and safety projects. It is ideal for mechanical, electrical, or sustainability students with a strong dedication in promoting interest in workplace Environmental, Health and Safety.
**Job Description**
**Role Overview:**
Key responsibilities include:
+ Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections across various departments.
+ Help develop and implement safety training programs for employees.
+ Support the preparation of safety and environmental reports and documentation.
+ Participate in incident investigations and risk assessments.
+ Collaborate with team members to identify safety hazards and recommend improvements.
+ Maintain safety and environmental records in compliance with regulations.
+ Assist in organizing safety and environmental meetings and workshops.
**Ideal Candidate**
+ Mechanical or electrical engineering student (or recent graduate) who is passionate about promoting and eager to apply technical knowledge to real- world Environmental, Health and Safety challenges in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Strong interest in workplace safety and environmental regulations.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
