Job Purpose

The Manager – Project Management will serve as the functional leader for the GCC Project Management organization. This role is responsible for leading and developing a team of GCC Project Managers, driving governance, execution excellence, workforce planning, and capability development while ensuring consistent project delivery standards across regions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the GCC Project Management organization supporting Project Nexus globally.
  • Provide people leadership, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career development for Project Managers.
  • Establish and drive standardized frameworks, governance models, project controls, and delivery best practices.
  • Own PM resource planning, capacity management, workforce strategy, onboarding, and competency development.
  • Ensure consistency in project execution, KPI management, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner with Regional Leadership, Delivery Organizations, Engineering Teams, and Business Leaders to align project execution with organizational objectives.
  • Drive governance reviews, portfolio reporting, escalation management, and project health monitoring.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery predictability, operational efficiency, and PM maturity.
  • Champion Rockwell's culture of integrity, inclusion, accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

 

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing GCC Project Management team.
  • Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, learning, and operational excellence.
  • Create and execute capability-building roadmaps to strengthen project management practices across the organization.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project governance challenges.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mandatory)
  • PMP® Certification from PMI (mandatory).
  • Proven Project Management experience managing complex projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and team development.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project governance, project controls, portfolio management, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Project, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
