Accountabilities:

    As a Senior Art Editor, you will be responsible for leading the visual development and quality control of educational publications, ensuring alignment with editorial standards, technical requirements, and creative objectives. You will collaborate with designers, authors, pedagogical teams, and production specialists to deliver engaging and effective learning materials.

    • Develop graphic, editorial, and visual projects based on creative briefs, establishing standards for new publications, templates, layouts, and personalized materials.
    • Analyze and contribute to page design and content presentation, ensuring visual attractiveness, readability, consistency, and alignment with project objectives.
    • Create and adapt illustrations, images, equations, and visual elements according to technical standards and educational requirements.
    • Review materials throughout production cycles, identifying and resolving graphic, technical, and editorial issues before final delivery.
    • Support and guide design teams by sharing best practices, conducting workshops, and providing technical direction for editorial projects.
    • Prepare and organize final files, ensuring correct formatting, naming conventions, graphic profiles, and delivery requirements for production and digital platforms.
    • Manage digital content publishing processes, including interactive HTML materials, ebooks, PDFs, and quality checks for digital resources.
    • Maintain editorial documentation, production checklists, and process standards to improve efficiency and consistency across projects.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has strong experience in graphic design, art direction, and editorial production, with the ability to manage complex projects while maintaining high standards of creativity and quality. You should combine technical expertise with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

      • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Editorial Production, or related fields.
      • Proven experience in art direction and editorial design projects.
      • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Bridge, and strong proficiency in InDesign.
      • Experience with graphic production processes and digital content creation.
      • Knowledge of MathType, image editing, and basic vector creation.
      • Familiarity with digital tools, internet technologies, and interactive content production.
      • Understanding of the publishing and educational content market.
      • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
      • Ability to collaborate with different teams and communicate design decisions effectively.
