In addition to career opportunities, our sites offer a culture focused on respect for people and giving back to the community through grants and philanthropic programming. **Role Overview:** The Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on engine pieces parts, modules and assemblies for both LEAP and GP7000 engines during quick turn maintenance work scope events at GE OWS Dubai. This role ensures all components meet airworthiness, Compliance with approved maintenance data, quality and regulatory requirements through visual, dimensional, and documentation inspections using precision measurement equipment and approved inspection procedures. Key Responsibilities. + Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of LEAP engine piece parts, Modules, and assemblies during quick turn maintenance activities. + Verify compliance with approved maintenance data, Engine shop manuals (ESM), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Service Bulletins (SB), and Engineering instructions. + Conduct Visual and Dimensional inspections to assess part condition, identify defects and determine serviceability. + Inspect engine hardware for wear, erosion, corrosion, cracks and other discrepancies using Manual Data to disposition correctly. + Review Maintenance records, inspection findings, and work packs to ensure accuracy, complete traceability and regulatory compliance. + Verify that repairs carried out at approved vendors are completed in accordance with approved procedures and quality requirements and have the correct release documents. + Support efficient disposition of findings to meet Quick Turn TAT targets without compromising quality or safety. + Prepare and Maintain inspection records, Airworthiness documentation and release paperwork as required by company and customer procedures and regulatory authorities. + Promote Compliance with Safety Management Systems (SMS), Human factors and quality management system requirements. + Determine part serviceability and ensure only conforming parts proceed to the Gate 3 assembly process. **Required Qualifications:** + Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related technical discipline. + Minimum 3-5 years of inspection experience in an aviation MRO environment ideally on LEAP/GP7000 engine types. + Proficiency in the use of precision measurement and inspection calibrated equipment. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and inspection procedures + Knowledge of aviation quality systems and regulatory requirements, including European Union Aviation Safety Agency Part-145 and General Civil Aviation Authority CAR-145 requirements. + Strong attention to detail, analytic skills, and commitment to quality and airworthiness standards. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience inspecting LEAP at engine module and piece part levels. + Familiarity knowledge and experience inspecting PRSV (LEAP Performance Restoration Shop Visit level). + Knowledge of measurement equipment methods and inspection acceptance criteria. + Familiarity with SAP or other aviation maintenance management systems. + Certification in dimensional inspection, metrology, or quality inspection techniques is adventurous. + Ability to work in a fast-paced Engine environment while maintaining the highest inspection standards. + Working knowledge of aviation safety management system (SMS) principles and requirements. + Problem solving and analytic thinking. + Effective communication and teamwork. + Quality and Safety awareness.
