Role responsibilities
The Phlebotomy Technician II is responsible for the accurate and timely collection of blood specimens and ensuring proper identification and delivery of patient samples. The role also includes maintaining inventory, performing clerical functions, and adhering to safety procedures.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with CPR certification and relevant phlebotomy certification. Two years of age-appropriate phlebotomy experience is preferred but not required.
