As a presales engineer, you will be able to contribute to our customers to bring a clean, reliable and cost-effective solar energy solutions. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the organization, preparation, and delivery of technical offer solutions for the bidding process.
- Responsible for coordinating the different areas for the delivery and awarding of the bidding processes, such as engineering, finance, legal, etc.
- Develop preliminary design documents, project costs and proposal documents for prospective projects.
- Assist in achieving the sales target for energy storage product solutions.
- Responsible for supporting the energy storage product solutions, technical bidding documents, etc.
- Work closely with sales team in meeting clients, attending exhibitions and trade shows to explain energy storage product solutions.
- Cooperate with the product development center to complete the energy storage system standardization solution for engineering productization.
- Review and preparation of technical drawings for basic engineering (layouts, singleline diagrams, etc.)
- Other work arranged by the leader.
Requirements
Qualifications- Bachelor’s in industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Required Skills
- Experience in an externally facing engineering role in technical sales or development of utility scale battery energy storage systems.
- Strong techno-commercial knowledge of battery energy storage systems, including design, engineering, commissioning as well as performance guarantees.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in different stages simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Empathy and a customer-focused approach, with a passion for complex problem solving.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of other Microsoft tools like Word and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Advanced Spanish (both written and spoken)
- Familiarity with Brazilian energy market regulations, technical standards, and grid compliance requirements.
- Experience with CAD software is a plus.
