As an RO Operator / Utility Technician, you’re not just maintaining the hotel’s physical safety and functionality – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Operate and monitor the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant, Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and associated utility systems.
- Perform routine inspections of pumps, filters, membranes, chemical dosing systems, and utility equipment.
- Conduct water quality testing and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair utility-related equipment and systems as required.
- Monitor and record operational parameters, utility consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, service requests, and emergency situations.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and usage of treatment chemicals and maintenance materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety within plant rooms and utility areas.
- Support the Engineering team with general maintenance activities across the property when required.
