We are seeking a motivated Stock Scheduler to contribute to our mission supporting our work at Savannah River National Lab in Aiken, SC.
The Stock Scheduler is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and maintaining inventory flow to support laboratory operations at the Savannah River Nuclear Lab (SRNL). This role ensures that materials, supplies, and equipment are available in alignment with project schedules and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in nuclear and/or Department of Energy (DOE) environments and a strong understanding of compliance, safety, and material control within a laboratory setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain inventory schedules to ensure continuous availability of materials for laboratory operations;
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and lab personnel to forecast material needs and delivery timelines;
- Monitor stock levels, track usage trends, and initiate replenishment requests as needed;
- Ensure all materials are handled, stored, and tracked in accordance with DOE and nuclear regulatory requirements;
- Maintain accurate inventory records in scheduling and inventory management systems;
- Support audits and inspections by ensuring proper documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory planning with operational schedules and project milestones;
- Identify inefficiencies in inventory flow and recommend process improvements; and
- Adhere to strict safety, radiological control, and laboratory procedures at all times.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in supply chain management supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. (preferred)
- Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree (depending on internal policy)
- Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. (required)
- Experience working in nuclear environments and/or Department of Energy (DOE) projects. (required)
- Prior experience in inventory management, stock scheduling, or supply chain coordination.
- Familiarity with laboratory operations, controlled materials, and safety protocols.
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards in regulated environments (DOE, nuclear, or similar).
- Proficiency with inventory management and scheduling systems (e.g., SAP or similar tools).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly regulated and safety-conscious environment.
