Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on night shift. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Philippines office as directed by the business, with remote flexibility on non-required onsite days. Night shift hours align with North American and Latin American business operations.

The Role

The Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst is an individual contributor role within the Manila People Services Center (PSC), responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of Identity and Access Management services across the GM employee, contingent worker, and supplier population.

This role supports GM employees, managers, and HR partners across North America, GMIO, and other supported geographies by managing identity lifecycle requests, resolving access issues, and maintaining data integrity within GM's identity systems. Operating on the night shift, this analyst provides coverage aligned to the business needs of global stakeholders during off-peak Manila hours.

What You'll Do

Identity Lifecycle & Access Management

  • Process end-to-end GMIN onboarding and GMID activation for new hires, contingent workers, and supplier users across supported geographies

  • Manage GMID suspension and unsuspension across employee types including hourly, salary, and contingent workers; apply correct suspension reason codes and follow established procedures for joint ventures, subsidiaries (Cruise, GM Financial), and Other Service Providers

  • Handle GMID reactivation and password resets in alignment with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge articles

  • Execute offboarding identity steps including IT Store Ticket processing and deprovisioning of access for departing employees and contingent workers

Identity Analysis & Data Integrity

  • Conduct identity analysis and research to resolve duplicate GMIN cases, mismatches in Outlook, and discrepancies in People Finder

  • Perform person maintenance tasks including company audits, onboarding profile validation, and profile updates

  • Manage GMIN Litigation On Hold, CISA Reports, and SCSG GMIN maintenance cases in accordance with global processes

  • Identify and resolve data mismatches and escalate complex cases as appropriate

Organization & Supplier Administration

  • Support Org Manager requests including creating, editing, and deleting sub-organizations, and assigning or changing Org Advocates

  • Administer DUNS and Ultimate DUNS change notifications following global processes

  • Process supplier provisioning requests through GLPD/Access Admin and Covisint, including Security Administrator Spreadsheet creation, referrals, and 2-Step Verification setup

  • Manage SupplyPower onboarding and reject pending requests following global procedures

Case Management & Service Delivery

  • Manage cases via ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLA targets for volume, accuracy, timeliness, and First Time Resolution (FTR)

  • Execute peer check review processes to ensure quality and accuracy of work prior to completion

  • Adhere to quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement by flagging recurring issues to Team Leads and Supervisors

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SOPs and Knowledge Articles; flag outdated content to the Knowledge Management team

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with Global Service Desk on complex or escalated GMID and access issues outside of PSC scope

  • Communicate effectively with HR partners, managers, and employees across time zones regarding case status and resolution

  • Participate in team huddles, shift handoff communications, and training sessions as required

Systems & Tools

  • Case Management: ServiceNow

  • Identity Systems: GLPD / Access Admin, Covisint / SupplyPower

  • HR Systems: Workday

  • Reporting & Tracking: Excel, SharePoint

  • Communication: Outlook, Microsoft Teams

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, process-driven tasks accurately and consistently

  • Demonstrated ability to follow complex SOPs and apply judgment when cases fall outside standard procedures

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; able to communicate clearly with global stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently on the night shift while maintaining quality and meeting SLA commitments

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Prior experience in an HR Shared Services, People Services Center, or IT Service Desk environment

  • Familiarity with identity management concepts including provisioning, access governance, and lifecycle management

  • Experience using ServiceNow or a comparable case management platform

  • Exposure to Workday or other HR information systems

  • Experience working in a multi-country, multilingual service delivery environment

  • Spanish language proficiency (spoken and/or written) is an advantage, given the global scope of supported geographies

  • Positive stakeholder feedback from HR partners, managers, and employees on responsiveness and accuracy

  • Demonstrated growth in multi-skill capability across IAM service lines within the first year
