As one of our team's core members, you will be joining our core application team and create an unrivaled user experience across devices for a user base which has long been underserved UX-/UI-wise - think the Airbnb of ERPs. Our AI-driven interface is central to everything we do at Plato and as such this role will involve close collaboration with our data science, product, design and engineering teams.The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver who is not afraid to get hands-on and take the initiative in implementing new ways in which we can quickly analyze, implement, and build upon suggestions from our product proposals. As a candidate you will not only cooperate with the design team but you can think of yourself as a full-stack resource that will closely cooperate with our CPO & CTO and fill gaps as a flexible team player where needed.What you'd be working on:Product & Features:Build a superior UX/UI of a data-driven vertical SaaS platform from the ground up in which users from wholesale distributors spend +50% of their daily work timeDesign flexible, configurable interfaces that seamlessly display data from multiple ERP systems and data sourcesOwn features end-to-end: from product discussions to deployment and iteration based on user feedback and usage dataTechnical Work:Build composable, reusable frontend components in TypeScript/React for a complex data-heavy applicationArchitect frontend and backend systems for performance, configurability, and maintainability (including contributing to our Terraform infrastructure)Write high-performance, real-time ERP integrations (SAP, Dynamics, etc.) - we have write-back modules to many ERP systemsTeam & Ownership:Work in lean cross-functional teams spanning full-stack engineers, data scientists, data engineers and product managersFull ownership to collaborate with your product owner to shape and build features end-to-endOptional direct customer interaction to understand user needs and validate solutionsYour qualifications3-5 years of experience in full-stack TypeScript minimum; high-growth tech company experience is a plusYou are fluent in TypeScript and ReactYou're excited about working on-site 4 days/week in our Berlin officeYou are comfortable working with databases (we use PostgreSQL) and understand data modeling conceptsYou have strong systems thinking: experience building complex, scalable applications with well-architected componentsYou think about systems and services and write high-quality codeYou don’t have problems with unit testing, GWT structure (Jest, Cypress, Jasmine, Mocha, etc.)Experience with Terraform is a plusWhy us?You should join Plato if,you’d like to be part of a rocket ship backed by top-tier investors from day one,digitize an old economy with cutting-edge AI technology,while enjoying the adventurous and demanding road of venture building,in a team of motivated A-players who push hard to make this a reality Our way of working:Office: We work from our beautiful and centrally-located Berlin officeWe believe working on-site is crucial in our stage to foster ideas and communicationWe are, however, open to remote work to escape the Berlin winterTeam: Regular team events and lunchesTech: Top of the range tech setupPackage: Competitive comp and meaningful equity in rapidly growing startupOur stack:TypeScript + React + Vite on the frontendPostgres for persistenceTerraform for infrastructureA handful of other toolsWhy we do what we do:Plato is building the digital backbone of the global trade economy.
