Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Turret Truck Operator to join our warehouse team in Sterling Heights, MI. This role is responsible for operating a turret forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in narrow aisle environments and be comfortable operating equipment with high reach capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a turret truck (swing reach forklift) to pick and put away product in racking systems
- Safely maneuver in narrow aisle warehouse environments
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products
- Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to track inventory (if applicable)
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a turret truck
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Ability to work in narrow aisles and at elevated heights
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed
- Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shift
