Back to all rolesSenior Automation Engineer - Quality ControlApplyJob detailsEngineering / Quality ControlNepalFull-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Engineer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in automation, mobile, and manual testing. This role involves designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, executing comprehensive manual and mobile test strategies, and ensuring end-user experience validation across web and mobile platforms.The ideal candidate is expected to have strong Python programming skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software in collaborative, Agile environments.Key Responsibilities:Automation Responsibilities (with Manual Validation Support):Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks using Robot Framework, Selenium, or similar tools.Lead and execute manual validation efforts for complex workflows, mobile compatibility, and responsive UI across devices.Build and maintain mobile test automation scripts using Appium, Robot Framework Mobile Library, or cloud-based platforms like BrowserStack or similar tools.Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing, including regression, integration, data-driven, and cross-browser/device testing for web and mobile applications.Define and implement test strategies for new features including AI-driven functionalities (where applicable).Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, QC, and Business Analysts) to review user stories, refine test plans, and align automation scope with sprint goals.Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, scripts, and defects using tools like JIRA, Xray, or similar.Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous quality feedback.Lead root cause analysis, defect triaging, and provide recommendations for process and automation improvements.Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and test documentation reviews.Mentor and guide junior QC engineers on automation, mobile testing, and test strategy best practicesRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.4–5 years of hands-on experience in automation, manual, and mobile testing.Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting (must-have).Experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, and optionally Appium or other mobile test frameworks.Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, and familiarity with XPath, CSS Selectors, and browser/mobile developer tools.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.Comfortable working with mobile testing platforms including emulators, real devices, or cloud device labs.Strong grasp of test design techniques, bug life cycle, Agile principles, and quality assurance best practicesAdded Value:Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, including Lightning UI, custom objects, flows, and validation rules.Exposure to AI/ML testing, including model fairness, accuracy validation, and explainability.Awareness of compliance or regulatory frameworks such as:o ISO/IEC 29119 – structured testing processeso FDA 21 CFR Part 11 – audit trail and electronic record standardsSoft Skills & Professional Attitude:Clear communicator with the ability to work in regulated, compliance-sensitive environments.Self-motivated, “go-getter” attitude with ownership of deliverables.Excellent problem-solving skills across automation, AI, and mobile domains.Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in fast-paced Agile environments.Collaborative team player and share domain knowledge.Passion for continuous learning in areas like AI ethics, mobile usability, and QC best practices.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentWhat We Offer:Real-world impact in building quality-first Salesforce-based web & mobile platforms.Mentorship...
