Job Purpose

Support the Area Sales Manager in achieving sales targets, managing distributor operations, and driving market growth within the assigned territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Manage and develop distributors to ensure effective product distribution.

  • Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and market coverage.

  • Lead and coach sales representatives and field sales teams.

  • Execute trade marketing and promotional activities.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures.

  • Build strong relationships with key customers, retailers, and wholesalers.

  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews.

  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, distribution, and market share.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales volume and value achievement.

  • Market share growth.

  • Distribution coverage and outlet productivity.

  • Availability of products in the market.

  • Distributor performance and inventory health.

  • Execution of promotional programs.

  • Collection and accounts receivable performance (if applicable).

  • Data analysis and reporting.

  • Communication and relationship-building.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.

  • Experience in FMCG sales, distribution, or trade marketing.

  • Strong knowledge of sales operations and channel management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sales reporting tools.
