Accountabilities:
- Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and advance enterprise technology opportunities.
- Design, architect, and present networking solutions aligned with customer business objectives and technical requirements.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) throughout the sales process.
- Develop solution architectures, proposals, technical documentation, and presentations that communicate business and technical value.
- Act as a strategic advisor for customers, guiding them from opportunity identification through successful implementation.
- Position networking solutions against competitive alternatives by highlighting differentiated technical capabilities and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, product specialists, and channel partners to deliver effective customer solutions.
- Stay informed on emerging networking technologies, market trends, and evolving customer needs.
- Support complex enterprise sales engagements by providing technical leadership throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Travel locally within the assigned territory as needed for customer meetings, presentations, and technical engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience in networking, systems engineering, consulting, pre-sales, or post-sales technical roles.
- Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies, including routing and switching, wireless networking, network security, SASE/SD-WAN, data center networking, and network management platforms.
- Experience with network access security solutions such as Aruba ClearPass, Juniper Access Assurance, Cisco ISE, or similar technologies.
- Industry certifications from networking technology providers or equivalent credentials are highly valued.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for enterprise customers.
- Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
- Experience supporting complex technology sales cycles in competitive enterprise environments.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to support customers throughout the NYC Metro region and travel when required.
- Competitive annual compensation range of approximately $166,000 - $343,000, including base salary and target-level sales compensation, depending on location, experience, and skills.
