Fleet Performance Improvement Intern (f/m/x)
The role: What's in the Box
You'll be joining our international Fleet team, working across the Netherlands, Belgium, and France to keep our vehicles running efficiently and our operations scaling smoothly.
Your focus will be to dig into fleet performance data, spot bottlenecks, and help the team move closer to operational excellence. Along the way, you’ll be turning scattered know-how into clear, standardized SOPs that make onboarding faster and process consistency easier across regions. This is your chance to see how a fast-growing logistics operation works.
This is a paid internship designed to offer hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment. As an intern, you will have structured guidance to support your learning and development. We aim to create an environment where you can build practical skills, gain exposure to how HelloFresh operates, and learn through doing. The internship is suitable for students whose educational requirements allow them to complete an internship during the proposed period. During the application process, we will ask required questions regarding internship eligibility and university requirements (such as duration, documentation, or approval criteria). Please ensure you are able to provide this information as part of your application.
What you’ll do: The Recipe
- Document operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve onboarding, knowledge sharing, and consistency across regions
- Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Investigate process bottlenecks alongside teams to find root causes and drive operational excellence
- Build and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools in Google Sheets, and support small automations that cut down manual work
- Contribute to ad-hoc reporting that feeds both operational and strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with Fleet Coordinators, OEM partners, and suppliers to understand challenges and shape practical solutions
- Partner with colleagues across the Netherlands, Belgium, and France to learn how local differences shape fleet management
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (open to other backgrounds if you bring the right skills)
- Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL, Python, or Tableau is a plus but not required
- Genuine interest in data-driven analysis and process improvement approaches (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Clear communicator who can work well with stakeholders across different styles and backgrounds
- Proactive and independent, comfortable taking ownership of tasks
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. There are many different ways of developing skills, and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.
Are you the missing ingredient? If this sounds like a tasty opportunity, we’d be excited to hear from you. We aim to review your profile and respond within 5 business days.
