You will join a strategic global initiative focused on building and evolving a modern, scalable analytics ecosystem. The role is centered on reviewing and redesigning the current BI environment to ensure performance, governance, and usability at scale. You will work with advanced Power BI capabilities to develop robust semantic models and executive dashboards that support data-driven decision-making. The environment is highly collaborative, yet requires strong autonomy and ownership from day one. You will also contribute to defining governance standards and best practices across BI workspaces and datasets. This is a high-impact position within a data governance transformation program, involving close interaction with global teams and modern data platforms such as Databricks.

Accountabilities:

• Assess and analyze the current BI environment, including data models, performance, adoption, and best practices, identifying key improvement opportunities.
• Design and develop scalable semantic models and high-performance analytical solutions using Power BI.
• Build and maintain executive dashboards focused on usability, storytelling, and business impact.
• Define and enforce governance standards for Power BI workspaces, datasets, and reporting structures.
• Implement security best practices, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and sensitivity labeling.
• Optimize performance using DAX, Power Query (M), and VertiPaq techniques.
• Integrate Power BI with Databricks environments using DirectQuery and Delta Sharing where applicable.
• Provide technical recommendations for evolving BI architecture and analytical platforms.
• Work independently to lead BI environment assessments and propose end-to-end improvements.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI development in enterprise environments.
• Advanced knowledge of semantic modeling and data architecture principles.
• Expertise in DAX and Power Query (M).
• Proven experience optimizing performance using VertiPaq, aggregations, and large datasets.
• Solid experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, deployment pipelines, gateways, and RLS).
• Experience integrating Power BI with Databricks (DirectQuery and Delta Sharing).
• Strong understanding of dashboard UX and self-service analytics principles.
• Ability to work autonomously, analyze complex environments, and propose scalable improvements.
• Advanced English proficiency for regular interaction with global teams.

• Microsoft PL-300 certification.
• Microsoft Fabric DP-600 certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Background in data governance initiatives.
• Knowledge of Data Lake, Lakehouse, and modern analytics architectures.
