The Role and Impact
Join Intel as a Materials Program Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving supply chain innovation and operational excellence. In this role, you will help shape and optimize Intel's supply chain strategies, ensuring uninterrupted support for manufacturing operations and enabling the success of Intel's cutting-edge technology roadmap. As a key connection between Intel's U.S. Factory Stakeholders and direct material suppliers, you will ensure the availability, quality, and cost competitiveness of materials required for factory operations. Your efforts will directly contribute to Intel's ability to deliver world-class semiconductor products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate manufacturing and business requirements into actionable strategies for risk mitigation, inventory optimization, and supply chain reliability.

  • Deliver uninterrupted supply of materials, including gases, chemicals, and direct materials, across Intel's U.S. factory network.

  • Operationalize procurement processes to manage inventory, forecasting, and delivery schedules effectively.

  • Address and resolve material escalations, inventory risks, and supply chain disruptions.

  • Coordinate and monitor material acquisition for new product introductions and ramp readiness to high-volume manufacturing.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to execute contractual obligations, meet KPI metrics, and provide cost savings and operational improvements.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing, to define customer demand and influence supplier selections.

  • Perform bills of materials integrity checks and ensure availability, cost, and quality goals are met.

  • Analyze data to improve supply chain processes, resolve operational challenges, and design innovative solutions.

  • Drive the development of systems and tools aimed at enhancing efficiency and scalability across the organization.

  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, cost benchmarking, liability resolutions, and effective implementation of engineering changes.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI, with demonstrated data acumen.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and stakeholder management expertise.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex supply chain challenges.

Qualifications:

This role is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in factory manufacturing with chemicals, gases, or direct materials.

  • 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years with a Master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD, in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

  • Experience in inventory management, procurement processes, and supplier negotiations.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with SAP workflows and supply chain systems.

  • LEAN/Six Sigma certification or operational expertise.

  • Experience with managing suppliers, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $76,780.00-152,460.00 USD
