To achieve our mission, we also need to safeguard our platform against financial crime and ensure our customers’ money are safe. The Mitigation Handling Platform team plays a critical role in this by building tools that empower thousands of Wise Servicing agents from Singapore to Austin to effectively verify customers and mitigate risk securely. These tools function as an adaptable platform, allowing other Wise product teams to evolve them to their specific needs while providing a standardized solution for scalable operations.We are developing the infrastructure that provides teams at Wise with insights into their operational cost and bottlenecks on their operations processes. This empowers them to enhance the product, reducing Wise's cost for customers. What Does Our Team Look Like?We’re a cross-functional team of backend, frontend engineers working hand-in-hand with a Product Manager, Analyst, Designer. Together, we deliver adaptable, impactful solutions as a platform for Wise Servicing Agents and Product Teams. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We value ownership, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to building stable, scalable systems while embracing fast-paced learning and iteration. What does success look like?You'll be having a real world impact by building back office solutions that will enable Wise Servicing Agents across the world to verify Wise customers and keep their money safe.You’ll have onboarded and found your place through understanding your team and squad vision, how you can contribute and grow the team furtherYou’ll understand how our values can help you guide your workYou’ll understand the reasons behind bottlenecks in Servicing processes and and how to go about solving themYou’ll understand our agents and the impact our product makes in their work  What does it take?Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to a non-technical audienceYou thrive in a collaborative environment and have experience working effectively with globally distributed cross-functional peers like designers, product managers, and analystsAbility to break down complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver customer value Is that you?5+ years of experience building Frontend Applications, with familiarity with Typescript, React, user behaviour tracking and an eye for great API designsExperience designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend microservicesStrong product thinking, with the ability to challenge the status quo and propose new ideas and optimisations to existing solutionsComfortable working on big challenges and taking full ownership of the customer journeyA track record of writing clean, testable, maintainable code and a strong belief in best practices like code reviews, open feedback, and continuous improvementStrong sense of good UX and design, and great attention to detailShare our passion for accessible web applicationsAdditional InformationFor everyone, everywhere.
