Sr. Manager, Product Operations

New YorkFull time$135k–$155kPosted Jul 16, 2026
At H1, we believe access to the best healthcare information is a basic human right. Our mission is to provide a platform that can optimally inform every doctor interaction globally. This promotes health equity and builds needed trust in healthcare systems. To accomplish this our teams harness the power of data and AI-technology to unlock groundbreaking medical insights and convert those insights into action that result in optimal patient outcomes and accelerates an equitable and inclusive drug development lifecycle.  Visit h1.co to learn more about us.

H1's Product, Data, and Engineering (PDE) organization builds and ships products spanning medical/clinical intelligence, digital health, health plans, and data infrastructure. As PDE has scaled rapidly, so has the operational surface area: quarterly planning, delivery tracking, cross-team coordination, and getting the right work sequenced and shipped on time. This role will own the execution layer — building the processes, cadences, and tooling infrastructure that help our teams ship more, ship on time, and stay aligned across H1.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1

You will be embedded in the day-to-day work of our engineering and product teams, surfacing dependencies, unblocking delivery, and making sure our top priorities actually ship. This is not a program management role from a distance — you will join standups, sit in sprint planning, chase down what isn't written anywhere, and be the person who keeps P0s on track.

You will:
- Run the weekly Scrum of Scrums (SoS), ensuring updates are in and cross-team blockers are surfaced and resolved
- Be embedded day-to-day on top quarterly P0 initiatives: joining standups and sprint planning, tracking dependencies, and driving delivery without close oversight
- Surface and document dependencies that aren't in Jira — the work that lives in people's heads, Slack threads, and verbal agreements — and push it into a living, trusted artifact
- Provide delivery coverage on engineering tracks that are PM-light (including health plans, Provider Universe, and StudyHub engineering), facilitating prioritization and sequencing without overstepping into product decisions
- Establish a shared sprint cadence across PDE teams so work is sequenced, visible, and predictable org-wide
- Configure and own Jira from the ground up: workflows, board structure, intake templates, custom fields, and reporting views — and drive consistent adoption across all PDE tracks
- Establish and iterate on delivery artifacts: PRDs, data docs, technical understanding docs, and review gates before work moves into development or release
- Coach PDE teams on scrum best practices — sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives — and hold teams accountable to delivery dates with influence, not mandate
- Relay roadmap changes or release date shifts to Marketing, keep quarterly project briefs updated, and help coordinate Product & Tech Demo sessions

ABOUT YOU You are an executor who gets into the weeds. You have built scrum from scratch at a fast-moving company, gotten skeptical engineers and PMs onto a delivery cadence, and know how to surface the dependencies no one has written down. You don't wait for things to be in Jira — you go find them. You hold people accountable without being anyone's boss, and you know when to push, when to absorb, and when to escalate.   REQUIREMENTS - 6+ years of experience in product operations, technical program management, or delivery management at a fast-scaling B2B SaaS or data company
- Demonstrated track record configuring Jira from scratch and driving org-wide adoption — boards, workflows, custom fields, intake templates, dependency tracking
- Proven success getting engineering and product teams onto a scrum cadence, including coaching, influencing, and holding teams accountable without direct authority
- Experience running Scrum of Scrums or equivalent cross-team delivery coordination
- Hands-on project management on complex, multi-team initiatives: dependency mapping, risk surfacing, stakeholder communication
- Experience providing delivery coverage on engineering tracks without dedicated PM support — facilitating backlog prioritization and sequencing decisions
- Strong command of delivery artifacts: sprint plans, PRDs, technical review gates, and when each is needed
- Experience working across Product, Engineering, and Data teams in a cross-functional environment   COMPENSATION This role pays $135,000 to $155,000 per year, based on experience, in addition to equity.   Anticipated role close date: 09/16/2026       At H1, we believe access to the best healthcare information is a basic human right.
