Johnson Controls helps create smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings. In this UAE-based role, you will help drive demand for our Controls solutions at the specification stage, working closely with local Sales, business partners, Field, and Product Controls teams.

What You Will Do

You will build demand, shape opportunities early, and help customers choose the right Controls solution for their projects.

  • Develop and grow relationships with consultants, contractors, A&E firms, developers, end users, and business partners.
  • Identify vertical markets, new opportunities, and strategic initiatives that support territory growth.
  • Prepare and deliver technical seminars, presentations, and product demonstrations that build brand awareness.
  • Recommend viable Controls solutions that match project needs and influence specification decisions.
  • Support long-term customer engagement to promote Johnson Controls products across the territory.

How Will You Do It

  • Own your outcomes with accountability, integrity, and a strong customer focus as you manage a busy territory and multiple priorities.
  • Stay close to the work and remove obstacles by engaging early with consultants, partners, and internal teams to keep projects moving.
  • Use strong technical knowledge of Controls and systems design to support design, specification, and solution development.
  • Liaise with R&D, Training, Product Management, and Technical Support to align proposals and feature requests with customer needs.
  • Improve every day by keeping accurate records of opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company-approved databases.
  • Win as one team by collaborating across functions while working independently as a proactive, self-motivated sales professional.

What We Look For

  • Minimum 8 -10 years of sales or business development experience in BMS products.
  • Experience with systems design is mandatory. Technical knowledge of Controls.
  • Excellent presentation and persuasion skills, with well-developed communication skills, able to influence at all levels. Proven ability to secure product specifications from end users, consultants, and installers.
  • Experience in strategic planning, marketing, and market research.
  • High level prospecting skills. Capability to identify decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Very proactive behavior. Work independently as a 100% individual contributor, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.
  • A team-player mindset—success in this role requires cross-functional collaboration.
  • Flexible in travelling across the country
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
  • Provider of out of the box solutions, with a can-do attitude is required and very result driven mentality.
