You will serve as an INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST within the NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
You will review, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex security problems, provide guidance to leadership, and act as the program lead to provide day-to-day management of special security program.
You will administer the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security program to include coordinating SCI security oversight for other SCIFs or electronic records management systems used to hold SCI-level permanent historical records.
You will properly account for, control, transmit, transport, package, and safeguard SCI.
You will report and investigate all unauthorized disclosures of classified intelligence information in accordance with DOD Manual 5105.21 and any other relevant DOD policy and guidance directives, instructions, and manuals.
You will provide briefings on local SCI security procedures to newly-arrived personnel and those receiving initial SCI indoctrination.
You will serve as the official channel for certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances and accesses.
You will conduct regular inspections and annually report to the DIA Deputy Director for Mission Services, Counterintelligence and Security Office (DAC) the results of the self-inspections, along with actions taken to address any shortcomings.
