Job Summary and Responsibilities

Operate PBX telephone system, answering and routing calls appropriately for CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs.  Answer and respond appropriately to emergency alarms.. Give locations, telephone numbers and other appropriate information to callers inquiring about clinics or other organizations affiliated with St. Vincent Health System.  Assist the Supervisor of Records Storage with managing the retention and destruction of documents according to CommonSpirit Health retention policies, including the physical organization of material.  Candidates must be open to learning specialized processes and physically be able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.  The ability to drive a vehicle with a standard transmission is preferable.

  • Communicates appropriately with patients/physicians/public/employees.
  •   Consistently answers telephone calls promptly and courteously.
  •   Maintains high standards of communication with all customers.
  •   Relays all communication accurately and efficiently to the proper parties.
  •   Seeks and offers guidance and assistance as needed.
  •   Ensures that all team members are aware of key information.

Required

High School Graduate upon hire and 

Less than 1 year transferable experience
