We're looking for a compassionate, service minded Patient Registrar to join our Galveston team on a part-time basis. As one of the first people patients and families encounter, you'll help create a welcoming, organized, and reassuring experience from the moment they arrive.
This role combines exceptional customer service, communication, and organization in a fast paced Emergency Department where every interaction matters.
Some days you'll spend your shift welcoming patients, assisting families, and coordinating registration.
Other days you'll answer phones, support the clinical team, and help keep patient flow moving efficiently.
No two days look exactly the same.

What You'll Do as the Patient Registrar
As a Patient Registrar at Hospitality Health ER, you will:
- Welcome patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Deliver the exceptional patient experience that defines Hospitality Health ER
- Complete patient registration accurately and efficiently
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients with professionalism and empathy
- Document patient information thoroughly and accurately
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and other office responsibilities
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, nurses, and other team members
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support the clinical team and assist with additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications for the Patient Registrar
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous customer service, hospitality, medical office, patient registration, front desk, or receptionist experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and reliability in all aspects of the role
